Big fan of QR though on the ground with post or pre flight issues they are just dredful.

In air I have never had cause to complain. With the exception of 1 flight with 2x2x2 seating I find the seats great and have tried all their premium seating, including F on the A380 and the newly equipped 787 Q suite, but I have never been hung up on doors! The food is always great and beautifully presented.

I find the crew engaging in a wholly professional way and I have never been bussed on a long haul arrival or departure. The bus for premium ShortHaul is outstanding with boarding direct from Al Safwa.

Al Safwa is truly magnificent. Cathedral proportions but the design won’t appeal to everyone. Al Marjan is vast and in January I spent a very relaxing time in the quiet area.

As most of my travel is East I am able and happy to avoid BA. Indeed I haven’t stepped foot on a BA long haul aircraft for 6 if not 7 years. For TA I like AA though a recent trip LHR to SYD on DL via LAX showed me just how good DL are.
