Transit security at DOH can be painful, and the volume of bus transfers are higher than you might want. But overall it's a great airline to fly.
Most of my QR flights have arrived at the main terminal and not had any transit security, connecting passengers can walk straight off the plane into the departures area.
However for many destinations (eg Australia, USA) there is a liquids security screening at the gate just prior to boarding, and often on my UK-bound flights they've had random patdowns and explosives testing at the gate.
