Ugh, I've spent too much time on this today, but I appreciate the help so much. I've found a flight to and from Paris on AirFrance that will cost 70,000 miles and 332.00$. I have just over 100,00 miles on Cap1.

The United flight I found this morning was 1100ish and I could use the points I had plus about 600$cash, but I could fly into London and out of Amsterdam, which would be easier for the trip I want to take.

It's not this difficult for everyone, is it? I feel like the more I try to understand all this, the more confused and twisted it seems. It almost makes me want to just give up.
