Honestly I am never a fan of SQ ultra long haul service and SQ 37 features the really bad meal arrangements with one supper after takeoff and then a full hot meal around 2/3 of the flight with a really bad so-called on demand snack menu. However SQ 11 features a rather annoying layover at Narita too. You get more food and better meals on the LA to Narita flight, but then there is only one single dinner service on the NRT-SIN segment.
I personally hate redeye flights, so I will pick SQ 11, but if you don't mind redeye and the strange SQ meal logical on these ultra-long-haul flights, go with nonstop!

Sorry to revive an older thread, but SQ had a schedule change for my saver award flight in business class SEP 24 and the website presented several options and dates. I was able to change from SQ37 on Tuesday to SQ11 on the previous Saturday. Only problem was selecting seats, which must be done after confirming the change with no idea what is available; dummy booking in another browser solved that.
Thanks to this thread I was able to make the choice as I agree that the meal service on SQ11 looks better, prefer the afternoon departure to late night, and I do not mind the stopover in NRT.
Gotta say SQ is fairly generous in these matters allowing several options and dates that are not available in saver awards booked straight up.
