What is a non sense is that you need to book yourself without knowing whether you can use your vouchers or not. I called M&M twice before to confirm F availability and I got confirmation it would be OK and that I could move forward
Being Ultimate with AF, I also have vouchers for upgrade and that's way easier. You call your Travel Assistant to make the booking and your upgrade is cleared instantly.
And at least, you plan your trip accordingly...
