Hm, i think that might have to do with the "special" treatment of DL with AF/KL. Don't have hard evidence, but the announcement of the unbundled fare specifically mentions that Flyingblue Elites are excluded from fees. Maybe we need somebody Elite Plus (outside AF/KL/DL) to confirm.
