Why is everyone assuming that it is AA's fault for "not giving up the part"??? I would say that this is clearly AS's problem. Obviously, they don't seem to have parts agreements with the other major carriers. I had the same thing happen to me at PHX. They had to fly the part in from LAX. You would think that someone at PHX would have a part.
