The wine list was the same as the previous two sectors of this trip (see post above this for the full list) with the exception of one of the reds.

It surprises me that QR are still flying 10 of their 77Ws (and two of their 77Ls) with the very outdated Collins (formerly B/E) MiniPod seat in Business Class. Whilst not as tight as the (more modern) Collins Diamond product on the A330s, this is still a poor experience with next to no privacy and a lack of direct aisle access for window seat passengers. That being said, the seats are comfortable in sitting or relaxing mode and there is more storage than first meets the eye, with dedicated shoe storage and a deep hard-sided pocket in the seat in front, water storage in the centre console and a further pocket below that. But Qsuite (or even Collins Super Diamond) it is not.

After takeoff, an iced coffee with warm nuts.

The wok-fried black pepper beef was very pleasant.

The caramelised apple tart was scrumptious.

After a few hours' sleep, the fairly basic seasonal fresh fruits started the breakfast service, followed by plain yogurt, mango compote and toasted granola with nuts.

I don't normally like sweet main courses for breakfast, but the dried fruit pancakes with caramelised peach was just what I fancied that morning.

This was a good flight with QR, despite the outdated hard product.
