Accor is set to significantly expand its presence in Japan with the opening of 22 new hotels, adding more than 6,000 rooms to its portfolio. The opening on 1 April 2024 will double Accor’s footprint in the country, bringing the total number of properties to 46. The new establishments include 12 Grand Mercure and 10 Mercure hotels.
