Which Renaissance? I stayed at the Renaissance Fira recently and it as very nice. I assume you're talking about the other Renaissance however which is closer to downtown/gothic quarter area.

Le Meridien wins for location but I don't know how rooms/service are. The Ren is closer to the Sagadra Familia although more of a walk to the la ramblas and gothic quarter areas and other sightseeing things.
