Is there free SDFC like with regular economy fares?
On an international itinerary, BE can be K , L etc.: all the cheapies. One other interesting wrinkle is that if you are on an international itinerary, you’ll end up on the upgrade list. You’ll be unceremoniously tossed off at check-in; however, if a CPU sweep is run before that 24-hour window and it catches you, you’ll end up in the front cabin.

This quirk is rare, because as a 1k, I’m at the bottom of the list: a high fare platinum, but it has happened.

For SDC, I haven’t yet found an agent that will do it.
