I recently met someone who was a collector of items that were of value, whether it was magazines, photos, paraphernalia etc, the wisest words he told was that if you think it’s collectible or has value you’re probably wrong!

If people are taking pens, paper, cutlery or whatnot from the White House or AF1 then undoubtedly many others are too. Which means you’re probably one of many who has just another item that you think might have value but it’s become the norm and the value is long gone! The only value will be to boast at the appropriate time over the family Sunday dinner or down the local with some close friends.

I recall Virgin having Salt & Pepper pots in UC that many stole but they became so popular and popularly stolen that they became worthless and a mere anecdote.

BA I don’t recall having anything worth stealing other than a few Kettle crisps, a can of Heineken to endure Y to IST! Albeit there is someone trying to flog a load of First table tops on ebay…reminds me of Del Boy more than anything!
