I was seated in 1L and was pleasantly surprised that the connected seats rarely were an issue moving. Had never flown AA on to AMS and was quite surprised when, due to my Dutch last name addressed me in Dutch. I responded in Dutch that I only speak a little Dutch surprised her and got a laugh. She was very pleasant the entire trip.

Was served sparking wine as a PDB and then red wine with warm nuts after takeoff. I pre-ordered the beef.




I was hoping for the short rib that I have had domestically several times which is usually very good. The beef entrée was ok but the Latin beef appetizer was very tasty. All was served on a single tray.




I opted for just ice cream instead of a sundae.





Breakfast was a cheese omelet which was tasty.




All in all, not the best inflight meal I have had but passable. Service was very good.
