1. my ticket was IAH-NRT-BKK roundtrip with ANA affiliation, I chose it from google flight then jumped to the UA website to buy it, I didn't see any RULE, so far I don't know what kind of ticket it was, I only saw it was economy K, which I think is NON-REFUNDABLE.
2. i can see the FFC in my wallet, however when i booked the ticket on the website for the final payment, i chose FFC and the balance in there is 0, all 0.
3. WineCountryUA gave me the url I looked at and it felt like it was this Asian ticket he was talking about.
So what exactly is my situation? I'm confused.

It's so hard for me, a first time UA ticket booker, to figure out all the jargon, and I swear I didn't see any warning windows. I probably guessed it was a non-refundable ticket so I assumed it wasn't going to be refunded to my orginal credit card, so I took it with a grain of salt and tried to see if I could get it refunded as an FFC since I've heard of FFCs and travel banks and stuff like that from friends before. However 2 customer reps told me yes, so of course I canceled my ticket.
I feel so wronged. 1. I didn't even pay attention to the small print in the email, 2. I asked 2 customer service reps and double-checked with them. I really want to cry now, if they told me to cancel my ticket, I would not have canceled and booked another trip, isn't that cheating me?

Sorry, replies keep getting moderated. It shows like yours. Is there any good way to resolve this situation? I feel like I've been lied to, can they just say they'll give me a refund and not be responsible for it without looking at the refund rule?
