Why would a fourth night free not work for bonus journeys? You get 3 EQNs for the 4 nights, the promotion right now is for every 3 nights stayed. It’s not for every 3 night length stay or 3 nights in sequence.
My stay started one day before the promotional window. The room was charged on 02/29, 03/01, 03/02, and nothing on 03/03. So even though I did not get the tier-qualifying night for 03/03, maybe physically spending the night is still technically an eligible night, at least for this promotion.
Since the free night usually does not count towards qualifying nights, I was not sure if the same was applied to promotions.
