If everyone just moved their bag back 12 inches, the average distance from pax to bag would be lower, and there'd be less upstream swimming at the end of the flight.
When it comes to overhead bins, J pax are fundamentally stupid until proven otherwise
last week watched as passenger after passenger, put their bags in flat on the back and not on the edge, room ran out, and then passenger needing space were too stupid to figure out to turn the other bags on their edge to make room for their own.Needless to say, I stood up and rearranged two bins to make a bunch of space.
I think we all need to do our part of rearranging the bins. Maybe the stupid people will learn one day.
