Since I first visited this lounge in June 2022, QR have refreshed the space with new furniture and carpets (matching that in the SIN lounge) and completed the new entrance. The photos below were taken in November 2023.

For the most part, the furniture is more comfortable than that it replaced, although the high backed chairs and sofas arranged around the fountain (operational in November but not on a more recent visit earlier this month) are an exception to this. Wireless charging has been introduced with the addition of new side tables, although power sockets are still relatively few and far between close to the windows as a number of sockets are used for the floor lamps.

The lounge's entrance is now via what was formally the corridor to Gate 1a - a slope leads to a lobby area where there is luggage storage and a receptionist to guide passengers to the Frequent Flyer lounge (to the left and then downstairs) or the Premium lounge (straight ahead). The fit-out here is very high quality.





































My mojito was a bit watery on this occasion.



But on a more recent visit earlier this month, catering was back on form with this excellent fish dish.



The showers and washrooms remain unrefurbished - and there are only two washrooms per gender.



This remains an excellent lounge, with high quality food and a now even more chic design.
