Sounds like a typical Gatwick crew, in my experience. Had the worst flights ever to TFS with BA in Club Europe. No drinks were offered at all after the initial drinks round, and there was zero service or cabin crew presence in the cabin after the meal on a four-hour flight.

There is a high turnover of crew apparently. It's all very well. BA is trying to compete with the low-cost airlines down the back on price, but then you can't give awful service to people paying premium prices up the front. Tenerife was routinely £500-1000 for business class last year, and yet you get far worse service than from Heathrow.
