Reporting damaged hold baggage online - BA IT strikes again

After I got home from MAN last night I noticed that one of my hold bags was damaged - a photo is in this post. Because of the location of the crack next to one of the wheels, it was not obvous when I got it from the carousel, and I'd put it on a trolley to the car so the slightly wobbly 'handling' of the suitcase only cause me to notice it once I got back home. Unfortunately, that means I wasn't able to log this at the airport.

I've tried to use the online form to report this, which has to be done within 7 days. But this simply sends me around in circles:
1. That page is "Reporting baggage problems": scroll down to "report damage to bag or contents" then click Report and Claim -->
2. Takes me to an Issues Added page - do you have any other issues for the same booking reference ("No, I have no further issues") and click Next -->
3. Your Booking - enter booking reference and surname - click Next -->
4. Select flight (I have to assume the damage occurred on one of two flights) and who was affected (me) - click Next -->
5. Next page says "Step 2 of 8 Claiming for your baggage: Before you start, have you already reported your baggage issue? In order to claim for damaged or missing baggage, its contents or your expenses, you must report it to us within these time periods: Lost baggage: bags reported as missing for more than 21 days Damaged baggage or items or missing items: within 7 days of receiving your bag". Click Make a report -->
6. ... takes you to the Making Baggage Claims page which says "What to check before making a claim: 1. Have you reported your baggage problem? Please ensure you have reported your problem and have your report reference to hand. In order to make a claim, you must have reported the problem within these set deadlines: • Missing bags – within 21 days of the bag going missing • Damaged bags or contents – within 7 days of receiving your bag". Click Report Your Problem, and you find yourself back at Step 1.

I've done this a few times, in a couple of different web browsers, and can't figure out a way of breaking out of this loop.

How exactly is one supposed to report a problem (a pre-requisite for making a claim)?
