I’ll just add on to this thread rather than starting a new one.
I also booked D fare for a trip to the UK for myself, and my father via award points (being more flexible in the event of cancellation). Due to fly next week.
Unfortunately my mother was taken ill and hospitalised last week so we cannot travel.
While I am gutted we cannot take our trip (and at Dad’s age, we won’t be able to repeat), Singapore refunded so quickly and have been excellent once evidence was supplied.
Despite any issues, as all companies have them, they were very good in this case and I will 100% be rebooking with them for future travel.
