You might find the Yotel landside a better option, though not cheap. It is cheaper than the airside part. The hotels just to the south of the airport are quite basic and can be noisy. The Hampton may be the best of them. If you choose the shuttle, you will most likely given and exit number where there is a sign/number for the bus you will need. Someone would meet you there and get you to the correct bus. It involves some waiting around and will eat into your meal/sleeping time.
