An alternative would be the new Hyatt Place Bukit Jalil that I stayed at before with the convenience of the Pavilion Bukit Jalil Mall right next to the hotel, but they do not upgrade globalists, not even to a balcony room, have no slippers, bathrobes and the room wasn't quiet enough. Some water dripping noise and furniture dragging noise from the rooftop above every night at 10pm or so. Good sleep / rest would be important for this night, so I want to try something else. Not worth it to go to Grand Hyatt for this short night without breakfast.
Some questions:
Is the aircon at the Alila Bangsar quiet enough? Any other weird noises that might disturb sleep? Construction still an issue?
Room description says "Plush robes and slippers" so that's better than the Hyatt Place as well.
Are the mattresses on the soft or on the firmer side?
Thin walls and families going back and forth between their rooms.
