Hi, looking to see if anyone has comments to share re Moxy Kyoto. (https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotel...yoto/overview/) I look and could not find a master thread here.

Here's what I have been able to determine myself from poking around (apart from all the usual Moxy branding things) ... newish hotel opened in mid 2021 and is located near Nijo district and the castle ... rooms are small and compact like typical Japanese hotels (and unlike say Westin or JW) ... hotel is conveniently located near train and bus station so easy to get to/from airport and around visiting ... service seems up to standard and "friendly" ... no facilities ... not the best shopping/dining around the hotel ...

Any comments or reviews appreciated. Considering where would be best to stay in Kyoto between all the offerings.
