Looking at an upcoming stay at the st regis or ritz bal harbour next week. I only have gold status so unlikely to receive many benefits at either. I know the St regis is closer to Bal Harbour shops. Does anyone one have any recommendations on which property is better? (amenities, beach set up, food, pool, rooms, etc.)
We returned last week from a three night stay at the St. Regis. I'm hoping to do a little trip report in the next couple of days, but overall we had a very enjoyable stay, although I probably wouldn't consider it 5-star. We had also debated between the two properties, so we wondered down to the Ritz one day to check it out and grab a drink. I actually thought the interior common areas at the Ritz felt a bit more upscale, but the beach and pool areas were definitely more cramped. Most importantly, the Pina Colada at the St. Regis was VASTLY superior.
Anyway, happy to try and answer any specific questions about the St. Regis.
