- Will the FNC continued to be issued around 4/15 every year, the anniversary of the original Boundless card approval ?
- Will be full annual fee billed on 11/10 (or better the 1st of the following month, i.e. 12/1) or will a partial annual fee be billed on 12/1 and then from 5/1 (the 1st after 4/15) onward ?

In this example, would it have been possible to upgrade on 4/17/24 before annual fee is billed on 5/1/24 to get the 85k FNC as the renewal fee will be for the RC product ?
-FNC keeps the same date as the card you originally got.
-When you upgrade Chase pro-rates the refund of your existing card immediately. The new Ritz annual fee is charged in full and is not pro-rated. That happens roughly 3/4 months after you upgrade. It then reverts to the original annual fee date you had with the first card.

Personally I think the best time to upgrade is when you can double dip the $300 annual credit over two years. It makes a lot more sense to upgrade in November than January for example.
