My husband and I are flying business class from London to Sydney on BA0015. The airplane is just identified on BA as a Boeing 777. We want to sit together and ideally not face backwards, not be near loos and galleys . We don't need the full 'double bed' option
What would be the best seat options to select ? I am a bit confused as to options.

Whilst the middle seats are “sitting together” just remember that your heads are actually quite a way apart, with a small opening divider between you.
Generally we prefer to have window seats making it easier to stand up and chat to one another given that this is difficult to do whilst seated in the middle pairs. You can see the separation and the small opening divider in this image:
