Looking at a Memorial Day dive trip and looking at the non-stop SFO to Tahiti flight. There can occasionally be good deals on that route and one of the few flights from NorCal to a warm water location.
Any thoughts / suggestions on it as a diving destination?
1. How is weather in May/June?
2. How are diving costs? THings I have read make it seem potentially prohibitive.
3. How is dive quality / diversity?
4. Any particularly good ops or dive guides / spotters?
Any recs / thoughts / suggestions appreciated.

PS: Also considering (another) trip to Cancun / Cozumel.
