I have a question - this may be a bit early but someone may know. I will be arriving from LHR (so T4S) in early May and am transferring to Iberia Express to fly down to ALC. Is there security screening for that the ALC airside? I arrived from CAI the other month and there was but I am wondering if it is a "liquid and gels" out or will they have new scanners.
The reason is banal - I want to bring a 500 ml jar of Marmite for a friend, It costs a bomb in Spain. If the answer is that this is still in place then too bad for hi, . I travel hand baggage only.

This piece from Feb 9th doesn't say when the new MAD scanners will be installed by, but also that there will remain the max 100ml per container, just infinite containers going forward.
So if the new scanner are installed by early May, presumably at the old fast track location, in theory you can bring 10+ bottles of rebottled 100ml Marmite by going landside then re-entering through fast track...so then not helpful sorry...
