There won't be any problems with taking taxis to tourist spots.

The sort of thing which might make a driver unhappy is if they've been queuing at a busy taxi stand for a long time, and you only want to go somewhere 2-3 minutes away... if you hail someone on the street or from your hotel they will go anywhere you want (unless they are about to change shift and you want them to drive for an hour away from their home area)
