As the vocal person you mentioned, I will say that I saw similar negative reviews on Reddit talking about the wear and tear at the Glasshouse. Many folks on this forum can talk about their experiences at YTL Hotels across the globe...

Regardless, the Courtyard next to the Glasshouse could also be up for consideration as it supposedly offers free hot breakfast based on past and recent stay reports.
