in case your card was charged go to the checkin or ticket sales counter at the airport to complain and bring the receipt of the upgrade.
To be clear, it never even took my credit card. I clicked that I would use a credit card... it said processing (as is if would go to a screen to input the number), and then ended the process. Still 8 seats available (via expertflyer, not the seatmap), and a bit baffling it won't even let me see the seat map anymore.
