This comment came immediately after SPN Lifer 's comments about DVTs so I am commenting on the assumption it is a response to those comments. As someone who has been diagnosed with DVTs, I'll point out that it's not just being able to extend or stretch your legs but you need to contract them as well. Keep them moving. That is not possible if your personal item is tucked behind your legs.
