SYD - DPS - flying next week

I can currently buy a Y class seat for $A598 and a J class seat for $A1795. I already have a Y class ticket.
GA is currently saying minimum bid upgrade is IDR14,882,000 approx $A1380 which seems ridiculous.
I'd have thought somewhere between $A400 - $A800.
Does this sound right? Is it cheaper at the airport if seats are still available?
This is my first time flying GA.
