Expertflyer is showing both DOH-LHR flights to be operated by 3-class B777 aircraft that day, which would have WTP up to row 19 as per what your friend can see. B77W aircraft with the new Club Suite fitted (B77H aircraft) have WTP up to row 34, which is what you saw, so it is highly possible BA have swapped your plane and EF hasn’t caught up or BA MMB hasn’t caught up with the swap going the other way!

Just keep an eye on it over next few days to see where it settles!
