Soon to start the return flight. I was able to book the free transit hotel online. I chose the
Pullman which seems to be within the perimeter of CAN airport or even attached to terminal. Following this
link at the bottom there's a big "book now" button which lead to this
page. It was all very easy, just hat to input my ticket-# name and e-mail and was all set. I was able to book two rooms for the three of us. No e-mail confirmation was given, though. So I made screenshots of the bookings just in case.
So the screenshot did the trick as I wasn't able to locate a transfer/transit counter. I just went through the regular immigration process. After asking someone how to get to the Pullman, I was directed to the departures area exit #46 from where the shuttle leaves every 30 minutes. The receptionist made some calls and asked for onward boarding passes. I was given a nice twin room which is very decent. Breakfast would've been included, unfortunately my flight left just after midnight. So all in all a good experience thanks to the screenshot I made.
