We tried to transfer some points to United and it failed after 24 hours without any reason. I re-verified the MP account number and it's accurate (same as last time when we did it 6 months back). Only difference being the alphabetical part of MP number typed in caps this time instead of lowercase last time.
I have retried the transaction, let's hope it works this time.
Called Travel Edge support and that said that the transfer is rejected coz of uppercase alphabet in United MP number and that nothing can be done for 60 days until the option to unlink partner is available.
How stupid is it to do case sensitive comparison of Membership numbers.
