FWIW, I was reasonably impressed with this Hilton considering my upgrade to a very nice room on the river from a rate of £39(!)- hence the reason I decided to try the inconvenient location. FYI, I'm HHonors Diamond.
Shuttle bus goes to Canada Water station. The only drawback is the bus isn't very big so you might have to queue for a bit. Alternatively there's a London Bus stop just outside the hotel from which you can catch a bus to Canada Water.
Stayed there one night last August. Single room for £49 B&B, room on the top floor with balcony and great view back towards the centre of London.
Anyway to get back to IC issues, the CP Dockland was previously a HI, not the other way round.
