Don't be shocked if your credit union card doesn't work overseas, it took my wife like six or seven years to get the correct card for it to work overseas, the first time was just this August in China. It's been a running joke, she collects receipts from all over the planet telling her that they can't take her card.

I know, the vast majority of people don't have any problems, but.....
