I flew back from SYD on the BA16 yesterday and had my first taste of Noble. I must have grimaced when I sipped it, the delightful crew member asking if everything was okay. I said my taste buds were expecting the Laurent Perrier and were caught a little off guard. She asked which I preferred, "oh definitely Laurent Perrier".
Once airborne she came with my canapés and a glass of champagne, placing the champagne she said with a smile "I think you might enjoy this" and left to serve others. It was LPGS! When she returned she said she'd found a bottle in the bar, and because no one else in the cabin had commented about the champagne, she would reserve that bottle for me.
She did say although LPGS has officially retired an odd bottle does occasionally make its way on board so its worth asking crew (in the short term) if a stray bottle has been loaded.
Happy hunting!
