Indeed, there should be plenty of options if your flight gets cancelled. I would wait to see if they really cancel your flight and get ready to travel through another airport, maybe add 1 or 2 hours travel time, but you should be okay.
Even better, maybe they’ll put you on a nonstop flight with BA.
