OK, bit jet laged and in the feeding station that is the lounge at Pullman G in BKK so please forgive silly typing errors

Left Siem Reap to day for BKK

Taki is still 35$ and in my view the best way to get there as it is pick up from hotel and take you over an hour to airport. ( You will have luggage and if two or more share its very economical per pax )

There is a bus. I think its 8$ each, and runs I think every two hours. I have no idea where from, so factor that tut tut cost in ( guess 3$ )

Do not take a tut tut or remork - its just plane stupid to do this - new road is long but smoth pavement but old roads dirty and dusty - we saw a few do this and on arrival looked very worse for wear - its 30 plus degs even at 7am

The taxi ( they may allow grabs ) pay a tole on entry to airport for what I beleive is the use of the new road - and again on exit ( use of road and drop of time - I stand to be corrected on this )

Check in is smoth - the3re are loads of open gates , clean toilets and trollies, and by ythe time y-ou have negociated either with Air Aisia on your 7kg bag ( that is 8kg ) 9and put your water bottle in the coat pocket - security is effectivly 3 mins - shoes off not needed

You then enter a very big and empty building. There is a nice statue just af-ter security dividing the airport into 3 "paths". One is unfinished and has a closed - probably not built - lounge - dont go there

The corect path is to the right - entry is by status , 35 sd or access card ( PP welcome ) we had no isues - the lounge is the busiest place in the airport

For those who smoke 22 usd will get you 200 aprox in the shops opposite

There are plent-y of smoking arears ( or good plane spotting venu%es ) that have no one using them - or planes to see

Photos of lounge below

Its a good lounge, but obvioulsy not up to the high standards of Gallaries or the Co9ncord room lol ( / sarcasum mode off )

It makes up for missing the breakfast at the hotel for an early start --- and to be fair better than tonights offerings at the Pullman G

You use a jet bridge to acesss - long taxi then you may get views over the lake on your way out.

Sorry% for long post but hopefuly- this will be helpful to some
