Same opinion here on the new champagnes. On my flight last week from JFK-LHR, the crew did go round asking all pax if anyone wanted a top-up. I did not take up the offer, but my opposite seat mate did, and discovered the bottle was close to empty, so they came back later with a full bottle.

I guess BA can now save on champagne cost from my side, as I find both La Dame and Pommery not really there to want a 2nd glass. From what I have experienced so far both at LHR, onboard and JFK.

LPGS (at JFK) > Cyrstal (JFK) > Grande Dame > Pommery
on a side note: still very irritated with how the situation is with Champagne offerings at the Chelsea lounge. After a year it is still really not chique....
