No. It's valid to use multi-city but if you want access to checked bags you need to leave >24 hours between Doha arrival and departure.

And it's not a case of just taking carry on if the time is <24 hours but putting what you need in transit into hand baggage and having hold baggage checked through to your destination as normal.
