Can anyone share their experience with this? I'd like to stay at the resort until early afternoon since my flight from NBO doesn't depart until late in the evening. I'm not planning any drives that day, but if park fees are charged I'd rather leave early and get a day room in Nairobi for half the price of the park fees.

EDIT: Just heard back from the hotel, they confirmed that if you go straight from the lodge to the airstrip there is no additional park fee incurred on the last day regardless of departure time.
