Initiated a transfer from DBS due to annual expiry of 25k points (50k mls) on Sun, 17 Mar and still waiting. In the past it was done in 24-48hrs.
Meanwhile my points from the KF Amex (Ascend - hey one needs a miles earning card for those private hospital bills) after monthly statement posted fine.
Now the kicker is that I have had this DBS CC for over a decade at least and have probably done 10-15 transfers over the years without issues. First and Last Name are an exact match between CC account and KF and no middle name or initials, KF# is correct, address for CC and KF account is also exactly the same (not that they could check easily) and so on.
Beats me honestly and DBS assures me that in their systems the transfer was already processed same day (Sunday) so 5 days ago. I guess we will see if the miles eventually show up or someone from KF has the courtesy to reach out and tell me what the perceived issue may be so it can be cleared up.
So don't count on miles always posting quickly from local SG CCs even if they did for years. Luckily I don't need them urgently, it's just annoying. YMMV.
Hi there. I was in the same boat as you!
Initiated a 30k DBS points transfer on 16th Mar (Saturday).
Till now 24 Mar (Sunday) the 60k miles have not even credited into my SQ KrisFlyer account.
DBS side confirmed that the points transfer was completed on their end.
Most likely is the SQ Krisflyer side probably having issues.
Contacted SQ KF CSOs twice (Live chat + Hotline call), both told me the same thing that need to wait for 15 business days.
The live chat CSO even directed me to this URL saying that need to wait for 15 business days:
https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/s...-partners/#DBS)
The CSOs even claimed that they couldn't check their backend systems whether the transfers are being processed.
FYI: My first two transfers so far took me about 1 to 2 working days - It was initiated on a weekday (Tuesday / Wednesday).
