Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Avenue on the E is the same as 74th Street on the #7. (One is the designation given to the subterranean station; the other is the designation given to the elevated (#7) station.)

The E is probably the better choice, as the E platform is a shorter walk from the PABT than the #7 platform. And the ride on the E is a little shorter than the ride on the #7.

If you will be traveling on a weekend, be sure to check the MTA website for possible weekend service changes on the E and the #7.

The Q70 SBS bus to/from LGA is now free for all passengers; no need to use your Metrocard (which is valid on all local buses -- including SBS buses -- in NYC.)
