Additionally, I reviewed the M&M’s website info on upgrading. After entering my booking code, there were no upgrade offers.

Since this is a codeshare, will I have the opportunity to upgrade (either via cash or miles) by calling UA or LH, OLCI, at the airport, upon arrival in FRA, etc.?

You cannot use +Ps to upgrade Z or P class unfortunately. I assume right now you're on UA codeshares versus the native LH flight numbers? You should see if you can have the 1K desk bring your flight numbers over to the LH numbers as that would let you see upgrade offers online on LH's site. This will require that the Z/P inventory is currently available on LH's flight number.
