Thought I'd update this thread with my recent stay. Rooms starting to feel a little dated in places, but overall a solid option if you're in London for a little longer and need a kitchen, laundry room, etc. Location is great, lots of good restaurants/cafes in the area, and there's a small supermarket close by (Sainsbury's Local).
Late checkout given without any issue and my room was on the 5th (top) floor with a decent view of Elephant & Castle.
Breakfast can get a little busy (the space is limited and there's only one coffee machine), but I was pleasantly surprised by the pastries: warm and delicious.
All in all, I'd recommend this Residence Inn. It's very similar the the Tower Bridge location (1 block down), but it feels a little smaller and I thought the service here was a little better.
