I had some very nice stays there, and I hope we'll see the property reborn in its third incarnation. I did a quick search on Danish media this morning, and did not find any stories on the hotel closing. I might have to try a more detailed search.
Edited to add:
The two companies running the hotel Bremerholm 6 F&B ApS and Bremerholm 6 Hotel ApS (the name of the companies is the address) have been declared bankrupt, the holding company Bremholm 6 Holding ApS has not. The real estate investor behind is apparently known for his creative use of bankruptcies, and his companies seem to be frequent in bankruptcy court.
The hotel has already been reincarnated under its old name Herman K with the Danish hotel operator Bühlmann taking over operations, but it has left Marriott.
So it seems the bankruptcy was not driven by the socialism and lack of guests, but just by real estate speculation.
