One of the many thing I love about United is how flexible they are with cancellations. Whenever I do one, I get full credit (or a full refund if within 24 hours).
But, what happens if you are halfway through a trip and need to cancel the return leg? Do you get credit for (approximately) half the value?

Yes, United Airlines allows you to cancel a return flight, but the ticket will be repriced at the one-way fare. This is usually less than the roundtrip fare for most US domestic flights, but a ticket change fee may negate any saving. For long haul, one way is usually more than the return price you have paid.
